It's been three years since we have been to Maui and this time we are taking the kids with us! This will be the second family vacation in 12 years. Tonya has been doing a paper route for the last nine years, seven days a week. Although she really enjoys getting up at 2:00 am every morining, she is going to have to quit. Why? Because no one in their right mind would take on such a large route. I am sure she is going to miss driving around in the middle of January with the window rolled down and the heat turned off so she can stay awake!
We enjoyed the trip so much last time that we really wanted to share it with the kids. This will be the second family vacation we have taken since Zac was about 3 years old.

Sounds like a well deserved trip. Hopefully Tonya won't wake up in Hawaii at 2:00 in the morning and head out the door...

Pat delivered newspapers 6 years ago and found only the bravest of hearts could make a career of it...good for you Tonya! Enjoy your well-deserved trip to my favorite island.

I had an a.m. paper route once. It lasted a while, but then Sunday came and that pretty much ended that.
