The West Family Update

Okay, I tried to sit down and post something awhile ago and I never got around to finishing it. So here is what is going on in the West family. It is 92 degrees in Yakima today and just beautiful. This last Friday I got offerred a new position working at the Ahtanum Correctional Complex. It is a state facilities and I will be the new business advisor to the superintendant. I also just recently started selling pampered chef. Jesse is still working for the Army as an equipment operator and loves being able to play on his tonka toys every day. We finally got our garden planted this last weekend and can't wait until it is ready to eat. We are contemplating having a gathering at our place for the weekend of the 4th of July so if anyone is interested let me know. We have plenty of land for tents, campers, etc. Well, that should cover it for now. I will get some pictures up here the next time I post something. Love you all!

What have we been up to lately.....TONS!

This past weekend for Memorial Day Sean and I went camping with some friends in Sequim at Sequim Bay State Park. We had a great time relaxing and playing with everyone else's kids! We arrived on Thursday evening and pitched our tent and hung out. Friday morning we gathered the troops and headed to the Olympic Game Farm. That place is so FUN! If you have never gone you need to and if you already have go again. Sean loved it! He kept feeding all the animals and letting them stick their heads in the car. Saturday we all went to the Spit. Sean, Janette and I tryed our luck at walking to the light house at the end of the spit. Sounds easy right? That is what I thought. NOPE! Not so easy. The walk is about 7 miles one way. I made it about half way and then begged that we turn back. Sean, the mountain man, did great of course. Sunday we left just in time to drive right into the rain as we crossed the floating bridge.

Some really exciting news....
Soon we will have a new camera to capture all our moments and share them with you all.
Not sure if any of you remember but Christmas 2005 at Ric and Cheri's house Sean and I exchanged gifts and he gave me a digital camera...well on St Patty's Day I had my purse stolen. The camera was in there as well as everything else in my life...wallet, make-up(girls you know), Sean's cash, my cash, keys you name it, it was in there.

Well, hopefully this week we will be getting our new camera. It is being sent to Michael and Annie's house for safe shipping. Can't wait we are so excited and can't wait to getting back to capturing our memories again!

Here are a couple pictures from my Maid of honors camera, we went out on her and her hubby's boat and drove to The Boat Shed. Some of the pictures are great! Enjoy!

Memorial Day Weekend

It's a rainy day here in St. Louis, which is actually quite welcome. I guess that makes us true
Bremertonians. We just got back from Lowe's with a carful of necessary and important stuff to finish off the pantry. And right now we are sitting at the kitchen table finishing lunch and waiting for our motivation to arrive. We are wondering what is everyone else doing this weekend?

I feel like this is my own personal blog!!

Madison in her new skirt.

Getting some cousin kisses.

Getting some Auntie kisses.

Sleepy baby.

Yes. Alesta is writing another one. But I'll let you know how she is doing now, rather than shower you all with pictures of my beautiful daughter! She is doing very well! She had a checkup today. She has gained almost a pound. She had her blood drawn too. :(. Ohhh that was the saddest noise that she has ever made. Poor Maddy. But she is still a very healthy baby girl. YAY! She is a genius too. And I am not just saying that because she is mine. I'm saying that because yesterday we visited her Auntie Devonne, and she rolled over! (The baby. Not Devonne.) Not just one, but FOUR times! She is not even three weeks old and she can roll over. She is a G-E-N-I-U-S! (I hope I am spelling that right.) Anyway, NOW here are some pics! :D.

Cooper.

Cooper is no longer MIA.
My friend's Jessica and Nathan saw him up for adoption at the Kitsap Humane Society.
He was under the name 'Herman'. (Ew.)
I called and told them that they had my dog.
I went there and they told me that in order to redeem him I had to give them $363.00 because he now belongs to them.
Apparently he was there for 5 days, which makes him their property.
I told them that I had called their lost and found hotline everyday and never heard about him.
Thay said that he was on there.
But he was called a 'Foxhound/Akitta mix'.
He isn't.
So they took down the price to $200.40.
Still to much.

I told them to put him back up for adoption.
Tomorrow, my friend is going to adopt him for $80.
She is then going to give him to me.

Yeah.

In Mexico

Hola...here I am at my friend's, the Pellegrini's, in Tlachachilco on Lake Chapala, about 30 miles from Guadalajaura. I came here for a 3 week visit and am heading back next monday. I should be able to share a few more pictures of my visit when I return. It's a little difficult to create this post, since the instructions are all in Spanish. I'm sure there must be a way to correct that, but...

EDITED

so emma is silly & added a video from a birthday party we had for one of our neighbors BUT... technically it was in the year that daniel & i are married so it counts even if he is gone.... right?

Although we have been apart for most of it

Daniel & I are just around the corner from our one year anniversary. I know... such a feat. But I wanted to make a video/slideshow of the time that we do get to spend together. Since he has been gone for probably six or more months that we have been married there isn't a lot of different pictures. Daniel 'should' be coming home any minute/day/week now. He has been gone since the 30th of April & I am dying to see him. He hasn't even met his new neice yet. :( Well, here's the video.

PS. Thanks Aunt Joanne & Uncle Mark for 'helping' me find onetruemedia. BTW, your son is A-DOR-A-BLE!!!

One week and one day old.

Maddy had her first checkup yesterday. She is perfect! Well, actually the doctor said she was amazing and asked if she could clone her. That was good to hear. I have a very healthy baby! :). Her Umbilical cord came off yesterday morning. She is just doing fantastic. I am so happy, and I had a terrific first Mother's Day! Tyler got me a Samsung Digital camera. So now I have alot of pictures. Lucky for you guys! That is all for now. She is sleeping and I am ever so hungry. Godd bye for now.

New Mommie.

Well, here she is! This is the little something that has been growing inside of mr for the past nine months! Whoa! Labor was 16 hours long. But apparently I handled it very well. Daddy (aka Tyler) was so calm and sweet during the entire thing. He almost lost his hand I was squeezing it so hard. But we got through it. She is a very healthy baby! The first two nights were really hard. But last night was amazing. She went to bed at 10, then didn't wake up until about 1:30. Fed for 20 mins, then went back to sleep until about 4:15. Then ate for about 15 mins, then fell asleep until 6. I changed and fed her, and now she is asleep again. Last night should be every night. If only. Well, that is Madison Nicole's life so far. She's so adorable. Thanks for the prayers. God bless.

Oh, and please pray for Billie. He has the flu.

First a new granddaughter, then a new job

I got a job! Starting the 16th of this month I will be working in Seattle (3 blocks from the ferry) for a company called Adaptis. (http://www.adaptisinc.com/) Adaptis processes medical claims for the state of Washington and other clients. My title is Production Support Engineer. The company will be sending me to Phoenix for a week of training, so Patty will be able to visit her granddaughters. Thank you all for your prayers.

Dinner at Toru & Judy's

We had dinner at T&J's today. They have been friends 4-ever! Remember, Toru took fantastic pictures at our wedding (he was the ninja with the camera). We need to keep Toru in our prayers because he has had a mini-stroke a few days ago. His blood pressure was sky-high, but now he is on super-blasto pills keeping him safe.....we need him to stick around, hard to find such a friend.

Doggy.

Cooper is still missing.
But I have a kind of good feeling that where ever he is, he's safe.
I think that he found another home.
Which is ok.
As long as he is treated right.

But I miss him.
Alot.

Thanks for reading.

A few pictures of the boy

I decided to post a few pictures of Fred over here on the family blog. As you can see, he's growing up quick! He loves his Saturday morning swimming lessons, riding on my shoulders, getting into the kitchen cabinets, and generally looking pretty cute. Hope this post finds you all happy and well.
