In Mexico

Hola...here I am at my friend's, the Pellegrini's, in Tlachachilco on Lake Chapala, about 30 miles from Guadalajaura. I came here for a 3 week visit and am heading back next monday. I should be able to share a few more pictures of my visit when I return. It's a little difficult to create this post, since the instructions are all in Spanish. I'm sure there must be a way to correct that, but...

Fred and I are learning Spanish together from a bilingual kids music disk. So far we know:
Cuidado! Puede estar caliente.
(careful! It might be hot.)
Mis manos hacen clap clap clap
(my hands go clap clap clap)
and
mi boca dice la la laaaaa
my mouth says la la laaaaa)
and of course:
no me gusta trabajar
(not sure of the direct translation, though surely well known to any recent retiree).

So I thought I'd pass those along because they might come in handy on your trip ;-)

can't wait to see more pictures. Have a great time!

Looks like your relaxed and what a view, I am just a little jealous. I just donated blood yesterday and they needed to know what province/s I visited while off the boat in Mexico. If you stay in the city your fine but if you go out into the country, like our zip lines, they need to know the province to be sure it isn't one with malaria. If you were in the wrong place you have to wait a year. I was ok to give.
